Ahok: Next Vice Governor is Not an Artist

Acting Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama revealed that he has had one candidate to replace him as vice governor. He assured the candidate is not an artist.

Certainly, he/she is not an artist because my wife had upset

"Certainly, he/she is not an artist because my wife had upset," he disclosed, at City Hall, Wednesday (11/19).

He said the candidate was ready to be promoted to the President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo. If it is accordance with the rules and been allowed, the candidate will be filed on Thursday (11/20) tomorrow. "I want to promote my candidate to the president tomorrow," he expressed.

Unfortunately, he exclaimed the candidate's name who would accompany him over 3 year ahead is still a secret. Later on, vice governor would be inducted by himself. It is compliance with the Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 1/2014 on Election of Governor, Regency, and Mayor.

"The next vice governor is different when I served as vice governor. It is also different with deputy because of its induction would be done by myself, instead of president," he told.

Previously, he had joked regarding his partner candidate to lead the capital. He is often mentioning two female artist to become his partner as vice governor, namely Dian Sastrowardoyo and Raisa.
